Shipping Instructions
Shipping Costs are Tax Deductible for individual donations.
The shipping costs and the fair market value of the books you donate
are tax deductible. Upon receiving your books, Theological Book Network
will send you a letter acknowledging your donation, which you will want
to keep for tax purposes. You will be required to assign the dollar value
to your donation.
Personal and Institutional Donations Greater than 1000
Books
If you have more than 1000 books to donate, fill out our donation
form here by choosing option #3. We will arrange shipping
via cross-country carrier or have one of our trucks pick up your donation.
Personal and Institutional Donations Less Than 1000
Books
Individuals and organizations donating less than 1000 books, please
consider dropping your books off at our warehouse or shipping your books
to us. If you choose to ship your books, we recommend using either the
Post Office’s Media Mail rate or Library rate.
Media Mail®
Media Mail service is a cost efficient way to mail books, sound recordings,
recorded video tapes, printed music, and recorded computer-readable media
(such as CDs, DVDs, and diskettes). Media Mail can not contain advertising
except for incidental announcements of books. The maximum weight for Media
Mail is 70 lbs.
Library Rate
For Library Rates, items may be sent to, from, or between a school, college,
university, public library, museum, herbarium, or nonprofit organization;
any such institution, organization, or association, and an individual
who has no financial interest in the sale, promotion, or distribution
of the materials. Content is limited to books, sound recordings, academic
theses, and certain other items. Each piece must show in the address or
return address the name of a school or nonprofit organization.
Drop-off Option
You may drop off your books at our warehouse on Monday through Friday
from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., or any time by appointment. map/directions.

Packing Guidelines
Pack your books in a sturdy box. When possible, pack them flat to limit
stress to the bindings. Make sure that boxes are full or packed solid
with bubble wrap or equivalent.
